The Ladies of Derm, pt. 2

As we finish up our tour of the Dermatology department, I would like to introduce you to the final three cast members of my daily drama.
Peggy*-Peggy is a nurse that spent most of her career at a large hospital in Chicago, she's a forty something with big blue eyes and salt and pepper hair that's suspiciously beginning to look like a mullet. She perpetually tugs at her scrub top and adjusts her lab coat to cover up a recently fuller figure that she's not comfortable with; hints of a husband who makes critical comments about her weight gives one the impression that, perhaps, left alone, she might like herself more. Blunt and to the point, she'll steam roll you without even knowing it and she'll be the first to apologize if she hurts your feelings, but don't expect her to figure it out on her own. Peg is childless, so she avoided that intrinsic maternal magic that descends upon women with the birth of their first child, but she seems to have gotten in touch with it other ways; you can see what a fantastic mother she would of made. I love Peg, she has a really good heart.
Barbara*- This is the newest member of our department, she's been with us for 2 months or so. It's hard to make any serious observations regarding her nature because I haven't been with her long enough. Perhaps that's an observation in itself because she hasn't caused and major static or done anything off the wall, therefore flying under the radar.
Christy*-Christy was in Iraq for a year, and returned April before last. When she left for Iraq, she was married with two children and a full time job. When she came back a year later, she was divorced, homeless and jobless. She has since put her life back together and is doing quite well. Chris is closer to my age; she'll tell you stories from her time overseas that'll bring tears to your eyes.
